make up cell group was VERY VERY GOOD. mark and i decided that next time if we need a make up cg, we will go for this one. mummy aka gillian told me her cgl is a very punk person. so i was expecting someone who will look perhaps like pst zhuang, but it turned out that her cgl did not look THAT punk, perhaps cuz it's not service day, only 20 ppl will see him, so he decided not to dress up...

but he's cool. he's VERY animated, and i feel that if i were to be a cgl next time, i would probably end up like him. animated, corny jokes. but i think my members will faint and roll their eyes every time i try to attempt a lame joke.

but i think what attracted me the most about his style is, he is very confident, and know what he wants. (not say val dunno what she wants and not confident lah...)

but at the beginning of the cg, throughout the cg, at the end of the cg, he kept saying "today! some people will be touched! they will receive revelations!" so that creates an expectation, and awareness for me to want to receive something.

and indeed, i did! :)

during worship, he rang out, "Many of us here, are searching for God, and you know what? He's not far from you. But at the same He's not near you. So where can you find Him? If He's neither far nor near you? Friends, He's right on the inside of you. If you want to seek God, He's on the inside of you..."

(something like that)

Which makes my hair stood because it is so true. And to add on to it, Ed was asking me, "If God is omnipotent, then why does He still wants us to seek Him?"

Any idea why? :)

so overall, received alot, probably because of my 48hrs fast. probably because my mindset changed, perhaps... i was the one he was talking about when he talked about someone receiving revelation.
