i am so thankful.

5 and a half years ago You met me. You called me and met me and never let me go since then. You showed me how much potential i had in me. You changed my life. You spoke to me. You loved me. You cared for me. You hugged me. You cried with me. You comforted me. You cherished me. You never left me.

to think back, I have been in CHC for close to 6 years, and i never once regretted planting myself in this church. it's not about the posh exterior, nor the extravagant actions. but it's about the love of God, the love of the people around me.

Christianity is not a fake. it's not just some holy holy saint thing. we do not just sit in church and chant hymns or sing songs.

we lay down our lives.

we are imperfect people trying to be happier, be better, be more compassionate, be more understanding, be more loving.

and we do all these because 2000 years ago, someone died especially just for us, for you and me. can you feel His love?

i'm thankful.

without Him, i wouldn't be where i am, doing what i'm doing. having the friends i have now. having a good job. my life will be in a mess, i will be out there without aim and purpose. i want to do much more for Him and i don't want to lose out the moment He planned.

i want to SEIZE it.

p/s: chaihuat and yanbing pointed out that it ALWAYS rains on good friday. it's because on the day Jesus died, it rained too. i remembered vaguely someone told me that too. but i didn't remember. it rained yesterday right?
