today's cg was great, but that is not what i am going to blog about.

im sure many of you read my previous post and know that this week has been sucky due to my resigning from a company. one of the main reason i chose to leave because i couldn't stand one of the higher-level executive there.

let's name the person Ali.

the impression Ali gives me is that he is all out to look out for himself only. and if somebody in the department does something wrong, he would be very worked up and say things like, "can you all don't do such things in future, you all will get me into trouble!" to the person (people).

a leader that only cares for his own welfare.

wo kan bu qi ta.

i absolutely cannot stand people who are all out just for themselves, and do not even care about his friends and colleagues, and just focus on climbing the corporate ladder.

that incident etched deep into my mind even though the whole scene lasted only 3 min. instead of blaming them for doing the wrong things and getting YOU into trouble, why not be the one to TEACH them how to do it right, so that

1. they can learn from their mistakes and do it the right way now.

2. they will not get you into trouble now. (since tt's what your main focus was all along)

right?

so anyway, halfway through the message, val got us to read this verse and after that she said something:


Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

Phil 2: 4-7


after tt she said,

"guys, do you know that in the world, the most successful CEOs, are those that are humble, and is a servant to all his colleagues, whether high or low. they are the one that has good relationships with all his colleagues, even the lowest ones. these, are the most successful people, because of their humble, and serving attitude, they are able to win their people over, and have good relationship with them."

she said a whole chunk and i just paraphrase okay?

so on the inside of me, i burst out laughing, and if circumstances permit, i would have fall on my back with limbs in the air, laughing.

what is so funny?

the fact that Ali is the TOTAL opposite of the person val just described, is funny.

in my mind, i was thinking, so what if Ali is successful now? he...

well, you should roughly get the gist of what i am going to say, but oh well, i shall not say anymore because that would mean i am judging him, and there's a comment that said:

"God does not judge a man until he is dead. So why should you?"

so oh well, all of the above comments of Ali is just purely my opinion. and oh well, i just wish him all the best and stay as successful. =)
