well well well! it's my birthday yesterday and i had a great celebration! all thanks to those who made it happened!

early in the morning, on my birthday, i was late for work! =(

it was about 1020 before i stepped into office, and all seemed normal. nobody came and purposely wished me happy birthday, but i shrugged that off as they were too busy. richard did though. =)

and then after awhile, about 11+, boss walked out of his room toward val, and then started talking about some graphics stuffs, and then richard came over to ask me and yifei something. all seemed casually normal... and then gillian came over and said something which me and richard heard was:

"yifei can you come over for awhile?"

but then i think she said, "can you all come for awhile?" because she came over and said the same thing.

so after exchanging a puzzled look, me and richard walked over to val's side, and boss was standing there, clapping his hand in a "let's meet" manner.

i SERIOUSLY thought he wanted to meet us to discuss something because it really seemed so. then he said, "okay, today we need to do something important, and that is..."

"Celebrate Carol's birthday!"

i was REALLY surprised because oh well, i never expected a celebration. the MOST i expected was them coming to wish me happy birthday tt's all. i almost cried! haha. but i was really touched.

on yoseph's table, the lifted a big file which they purposely placed to block the cake. the cake was very cute. boss calls it the "burger cake".

then i made a wish, talk about it, and then they gave me my present (wow!) and then boss tried to probe me for a personal wish. i tell you, boss is really funny when he is funny, but really fierce when he is fierce (me and richard have had experienced it and were SHOCKED!).

so anyway, i had a very great celebration with boss and colleagues.

at about 655pm, i walked past boss's room, and he was like, "my dear girl! why arent you going home? it's your birthday! go home!"

=D

but i had some last minute emails to mail out, so in the end i left around 715.

alright! i shall post the pictures up when i take my camera back from yoseph. =D

this is one of the best year which i really enjoyed my birthday. =)

alex, jj, phebe and gang celebrated my birthday too, on monday at this nice Labanese place and later Val brought us to this posh and nice restaurant for dessert. i shall keep val's policy not to disclose the restaurant's name because it is really a very nice place, fine-dining look alike. the food is economical and superb!

and my beloved sher, gina, and JR celebrated with me with a simple dinner at Phin's, TM!

i have had 3 chocolate cakes this year! first the cg cake, then my mom bought cake, then attributes! ahh! fat fat fat! =D
